Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commerical and Business Development Associate to support our front-line Sales & Marketing team. This role serves as a critical liaison between internal functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely development of high-quality bids, proposals, and commercial offer documents. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing sales processes, improving deal flow, and enhancing overall business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner between the Sales team and internal departments, facilitating timely responses, consistent deliverables, and high-quality proposals.
  • Prepare and assemble commercial offer documents to fully satisfy requirements associated with the pre-contracting phase, RFI/RFP Reponses, Commerical Proposals, LOI/MOU and complex bids.
  • Produce regular internal sales reports, including transaction pipelines, skyline charts, revenue and cash flow forecasts and weekly reports.
  • Generate and monitor the Sales & Marketing KPI and Dashboard for use in performance management and order forecasting.
  • Develop and implement new processes, procedures and reporting to continually improve deal flow and sales capture rates (e.g. conduct win-loss analyses).
  • Support the customer facing Sales and Marketing leaders in the field to develop their sales campaigns and account strategies by recommending strategies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or similar industry, with a focus on Sales or Commerical Operations (Inside Sales) roles.
  • Experience generating complex bids and RFP for government procurement is considered an asset.
  • Experience in B2B sales, commercial operations or bid development roles.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace Industry commercial processes and contracting.
  • Soft-influence and strong collaboration skills to gain alignment within an organization and optimize partnerships with other functions. Ability to influence all levels of management across the organization without having direct reporting responsibility.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze, manage and present date and financial models into reports and charts for ease of decision making.
  • Strong Customer service skills and sales acumen.
  • Strong Communication skills.
