Conducts audits at supplier's facilities and define corrective actions (CAR) resulting from audit findings in order to ensure compliance with Safran and Safran Landing Systems quality requirements
Ensure continued compliance of supplier with Safran and Safran LS requirements in order to finalize approval of new production suppliers, R&O and commercial suppliers if needed upon request from buyer.
Liaise with SPMs to manage:
• Audit preparation with the auditee : scope, sector of activity/supplier, practical organization
Ensure audit perimeter is known by the audited and validate audit agenda with him
• Review the document framework to support the audit and take into account previous audits results at the supplier
Conduct audits at supplier site
• Manages and tracks completion of CAR's /SCARS and 8D due to audit finding
• Assess supplier compliance with Safran and Safran LS requirements and ISO-9001/AS- 9100 Quality System
• Assess strengths, risks and opportunities of suppliers and being in a position to propose risk mitigation plan
• Share the audits results with SPM in charge of the supplier to ensure action plan will be completed
Ensure actions completion when they are not long term actions taken at SPM level, are managed
• Record the results of the audit in the ETQ
Additional description
• Identify necessary training needs at supplier to define with the SPM what needs to be performed in order to implement quality actions to ensure that customer and Safran requirements are met.
• Put in place all the necessary methodologies and tools recommended by Safran with support of Quality referents people
Specificity of Job
Position may require frequent domestic and international travels
A relevant University Degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Engineering Technologist or Operations Management)
Experience: 5+ years of progressive quality experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environment and project management experience
Experience in/knowledge of raw materials and forgings and special processes an asset.
• Fluent in English, French an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
