Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that operates in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile.

Coulson Aviation operates with a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet, we can run rapid aerial fire suppression, including initial attack and extended attack protocols.

Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add to our team and hire a Warehouse Inventory Specialist.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

This full-time position has been created due to the rapidly expanding operations in Port Alberni, B.C. We seek a hardworking candidate with very strong attention to detail to be involved in all logistical aspects, as well as purchasing within the aerial firefighting industry. There will be no shortage of engaging work at Coulson Aviation Ltd.

Job Duties:

  • Pick & pack parts/materials requests. Perform day-to-day receiving and shipping tasks, and restocking of inventory.
  • Track and trace inbound and outbound shipments to various warehouse locations, vendors/suppliers and customers, and update system accordingly.
  • Ensure Coulson Group of Companies procedures and standards are being met.
  • Work with various departments to ensure steady flow of information throughout our supply chain.
  • Continuously follow up & update to all requestors/departments with inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure all parts/materials are stored at the right location (lot and bin) while maintaining organization and tidiness at all the times.
  • Release inbound & outbound shipments while accurately following requirements and SOPs.
  • Other duties as required by the Supply Chain department.

Requirements

  • 5 years of leadership experience, working in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification with 2 years of forklift experience.
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Office and inventory systems.
  • Experience in a stores position working in a team environment (preferred).
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • Must have own reliable means of transportation.
  • Able to stand, walk, carry, climb stairs, etc.

Additional experience, education and/or skills

  • Security background check may be required.
  • Aviation knowledge is desirable.
  • Retail/warehouse experience is preferred.
