Job Summary
This role efficiently and profitably manages and directs passenger service activities by providing a safe and productive working environment for a range of ground handling services to its customers and staff alike.
Job Responsibilities
- Main task will be to oversee the Turkish Airline account and be present throughout the flight during days of flight.
- Weekly update on Turkish Airline performance and concerns to direct report.
- Ensure compliance with all Swissport's corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
- Efficient Resource Planning (manpower, equipment) and manage scheduling.
- Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities.
- Provide support to front line staff and management. Resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Coach and train all employees to effectively improve operations.
- Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Accurately perform general payroll updates such as wage adjustments, vacation, banked time, monetary adjustments etc...
- Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via Dayforce system.
- Maintain, monitor, and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Conduct full investigations on irregularities, accidents, or complaints as per our standard reporting requirements.
- Ensure senior management is informed of important issues such as flight irregularity in a timely manner. Just reviewed it, can we add in the top for job responsibilities,
- All other task as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum 3 years of passenger service supervisory experience,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Excellent knowledge of passenger service Operations,
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Transport Canada Security background check,
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills,
- Leadership ability- demonstrated through previous supervisory experience,
- Customer focus and quality awareness,
- Ability to deal with conflict and escalated situations under pressure and tight deadlines,
- Valid Driver’s License and bondable.
