Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 703/704 First Officer transports thousands of passengers each year. As a pilot, your number one priority is to conduct each flight safely, taking into consideration the comfort of each passenger and on-time performance.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Conduct flights with strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual and the Company Operations Manual
- Assist the PIC in the management and operation of the flight, including participation in the execution of all cockpit procedures
- Fuel the aircraft
- Provide a thorough pre-flight/post flight airplane inspection on behalf of the Captain
- Load and secure cargo and freight
- Brief passengers in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Standard Operation Procedures
- Focus on flying skills and knowledge improvement with the intention of one day being ready to assume a Captain position
- Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Commercial Pilot License
- Category 1 Medical
- Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
- 1000 hours total flight time preferred
- Pilots must be fluent in English and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension
- Ability to qualify for a WAA (Winnipeg Airport Authority) RAIC security clearance
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to travel for extended periods
