AME Contractors - Heavy Check Operations

PAL is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, line maintenance, heavy maintenance checks and modifications. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.

PAL is currently seeking qualified applicants for contract positions as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M, S & E) at our MRO Facility based in Winnipeg, MB.

Note: We are hiring both licensed and unlicensed Contractors at this time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out the repair, servicing, modifications on various aircrafts;
• Troubleshooting;
• Comply with all company safety practices and procedures;
• Complete all required documentation and certification of journey log entries for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed;
• Be familiar with all Transport Canada and company documents pertaining to your work;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an AME;
• Working knowledge of Dash 8 or ATR aircraft would be an asset
• Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as the International Correspondence School;
• Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills;
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Trouble shooting skills;
• Must be able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
