PAL Technical Services is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, line maintenance, heavy maintenance checks and modifications. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.

PAL Technical Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Production Manager to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

Qualifications:

  • Responsible for communicating daily with customers and coordinating manpower, tooling, and parts to ensure requested maintenance is completed.
  • Reschedule any customer requested maintenance with the customer that was not completed;
  • May be delegated to carry out functions for the PRM in his absence;
  • Assisting with and supporting all policies and procedures regarding the PAL Techncial Services SMS Program, as outlined in MPM Section 8;
  • Assisting in Quality Assurance functions as delegated by Director of Maintenance and Director of Quality, Safety and Training
  • Ensuring all procedures for recording and submitting Service Difficulty Reports is carried out in accordance with CAR 521, Division IX;
  • Assist with all major modifications and repairs and ensure documentation postmod or repair is filed as required;
  • Responsible for maintaining AMO electronic technical record data, electronic entries in CMMS computer system, forecasting and producing work orders in a timely manner;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through program such as the International Correspondence School
  • AME License; M, S or E is preferred
    • Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on company aircraft is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as AME
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent decision making and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in meeting tight deadlines
  • Trouble shooting experience and the ability to problem solve
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset
  • Experience in overseeing heavy checks is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
  • Knowledge of airframe and power plant systems
  • Must meet company security requirements
