The Application Administrator, Sr (SA Menu) supports the development teams in designing, implementing, enhancing and operating our inhouse-built critical ERP System, SAMenu.

What you'll do:

  • Application Administration & Support: Performs the management, configuration and administration of SAMenu Application and Oracle DB landscape (EWB, EBS, APX, other) supporting or integrating with the applications. Supports SW and DB Developers in designing, implementing, operating and enhancing our inhouse-built critical ERP System, SAMenu.
  • Incident Response: Performs the monitoring, detection, analysis and resolution of SAMenu issues, defects and outages. Continuously improves the proactive incident management processes.
  • On-Call: Participates in on-call rotation (paid) to perform SAMenu operational and administrative activities that needs to run after-hours.
  • Spec Approval: Assesses and approves specs prepared by the Business Analysis team to solve issues and to develop change or enhancement requests.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Works closely with the management team and business analysts to prioritize, plan and coordinate SAMenu development tasks to build and integrate new, improved or enhanced functionality to support, transform, simplify and automate business processes and M&A projects across the enterprise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborates with the SW Architect, Enterprise Architect and other DB&App Administrators in the team to assess the improvement and modernization opportunities for SAMenu Application and DB landscape. Recommend technical and procedural checks and controls to proactively mitigate incidents and ensure the quality of developments.
  • Deployment: Approves and deploys developed solutions on production, oversees and manages the monthly freeze period

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience on SAMenu development
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and data standards
  • Advance knowledge of PLSQL or equivalent DB development languages
  • Experience with Oracle Databases hosted on AWS
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio, GIT, Azure DevOps Server
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a team player attitude
  • Good time-management and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sense of accountability and utilizing independent judgement
