Safran Electrical Components is the subsidiary of Safran Electrical & Power specializing in electrical components. It is also the world leader in harsh environment harnesses for landing gear and U.S. military applications.
• Maintain inventory records, including item inventory, bin locations, quantity
at each level, and expiration dates
• Locate and pick products based on Manufacturing Orders from inventory
shelves, ensuring the correct items, quantities, and quality to support
production
• Print inventory count sheets and maintain inventory control procedures to
meet company goals
• Review inventory workflow, propose enhancement and documentation of
inventory cycle
• Ensure inventory is kept at a healthy level, highlight slow moving items and
propose action plan
• Performs regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to reconcile physical
stock with system records and investigate variance
• Manages inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records are
maintained, and to flag out if inventory levels are not replenished in a timely
manner
• Participate to plan, drive and execute warehousing improvements projects
through the deployment of IT, Technology, Innovation and Transformation
• Follow Quality, Safety and Company policies accordingly
• Ensure daily production parts are picked to support daily operation target
• Ensuring documentation and keeping accurate warehouse records
• Support warehouse management in various administrative tasks as needed
• Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE
programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations
• Ensure inventory is stored safely, organized, and labeled appropriately.
• Any other duties assigned
a) Minimum 1-year experience in inventory control and receiving
b) Well-versed in inventory computerized systems,
c) Good keyboard and typing skills
d) Good communication skills in English
e) Preferably with knowledge of the aviation industry
f) Forklift experience required
This position involves working with controlled goods and is subject to Canada's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) regulations. As a result, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who meet the necessary security clearance requirements.
