Profile
We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our In-Service Engineering - Structures Team.
Key Responsibilities
Be part of the In-Service Engineering Team assigned to the issuance of structural repair drawings and dispositions for damaged in-service aircraft, in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulatory / Government Agencies (TCCA, FAA, EASA, etc.) and De Havilland Aircraft requirements, having as the main goal, the aircraft return to service in optimum time.
Assist in the development of Repair Designs and associated Stress Analysis
Development of software tools to optimize the development of repair designs and stress analysis
Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure the development of comprehensive, optimized, and efficient repair solutions.
Work to improve existing technical and procedural processes within In-Service Engineering to provide the best service to Operators, where necessary.
Investigate Operator requests and recurring fleet issues
Work effectively in partnership with members of the Customer Response Centre to provide coordinated responses to Customer queries.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering Program (Aerospace or Mechanical).
Skills
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software, including CATIA V5, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
