What are your contributions to the team?
- Research, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies.
- Validate these concepts in the Innovation laboratory with actual mockups.
- Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace design practices and requirements.
- Prepare different types of Engineering documentation to support start of design activities.
- Find & propose opportunities for product & process improvement (cycle time reduction, ease of production, weight reduction etc.)
- Support/attend weekly quality and engineering meetings.
- Communicate efficiently with colleagues, cross functional teams, and upper management.
How to thrive in this role?
• You are a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with up to maximum of five (5) years of experience.
• You have experience working with Catia V5/Enovia/VPM NAV (part, assembly, drawing), MS Excel and Word.
• You have relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions (considered as an asset.
• You have good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You like to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, you adapt easily to changes, and customer satisfaction is your number one priority.
• You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
