What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support stress in-service repair activities.
  • Perform various stress analyses on repairs: Static strength Fatigue/Durability, damage Tolerance, and Finite element Model (FEM) on multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global).
  • Prepare stress reports, static strength as well as damage tolerance analysis for compliance purposes.
  • Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies.
  • Review repair engineering drawings and participate actively in the development of in-Service solutions.
  • Provide clear visibility to management of the status and/or emerging issues to the supported repair activities.

How to thrive in this role? Skill, knowledge and experience:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
  • You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
  • You have experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and an excellent knowledge and experience of structural Damage Tolerance Analysis.
  • You have experience using Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5.
  • You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • You are a confident, knowledgeable and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills that is able to work in a team environment.
  • You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment.
