ABOUT US
Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.
Air Inuit's Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the company's essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Housekeeping of employee residences, including bedrooms, washrooms and common areas;
- Ensure the housekeeping of office spaces at the airport;
- Ensure completion of daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal task lists;
- Maintain proper use of cleaning products and equipment;
- Ensure inventory management and supply of household products;
- Report items requiring maintenance;
- Comply with all health and safety policies;
- Perform all other duties as required by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Secondary 4 or equivalent experience;
- Functional bilingualism French/English, Inuktituk an asset;
- Punctual, autonomous, organized and reliable;
- Willing to work atypical hours;
- Able to accept and adapt to unforeseen circumstances;
- Able to lift occasional heavy loads (maximum 50 lbs);
- Current driver's license;
- If the position is filled locally, the work base will be Kuujjuarapik;
- If the position cannot be filled locally, the candidate will be considered as having no specific base.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Rotational position - 2 weeks of work followed by 2 weeks off.
- If the position cannot be filled locally, airfare from Montreal, room and board is included.

- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy
