Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced person to join our Quality Assurance Department. As an Analyst, you will play a decisive role in maintaining the company's compliance to various government and industry regulations. The role comes with a lot of exposure in the company as the incumbent will be interfacing on a regular basis with all the departments' managers.

Objectives:

  • Supporting the Quality department in maintaining compliance with Regulatory Certifying entities, Customers, and internal requirements (processes and procedures).
  • Supporting the Quality department in maintaining and obtaining M1's certifications, accreditations, and licenses.

Main responsibilities

Compliance:

  • Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of repair and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Issue, document, and follow up of quality escapes to support the business.
  • Support the response to customer issued corrective action requests.
  • Support all aspects of the quality assurance system. Create and modify quality documents as needed.
  • Support in the control of all internal documentation (creation, release, and revision).
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve and enhance the company's quality management system.

Audits:

  • Support and lead internal & external audits and generate inspection reports.
  • Support to obtain new certifications or approvals according to business needs.

Training:

  • Support and manage the company's internal training program and provide appropriate training.
  • Review and update training when necessary.
  • Support the technical publications from OEMs, customers, and their respective access.

Your ideal background:

  • College diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent or other relevant training.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the aerospace industry in a quality assurance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, including but not limited to TCCA requirements.
  • Proactive with proven problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytics for root cause analysis.
  • Meticulous in your workmanship and documentation.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work well in a team, as well as alone with little supervision.
  • Bilingual (English & French), with strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
