Position Summary

The Manager of the Center of Excellence for the sourcing and sales of specific materials and components for commercial and military aircraft is responsible for the overall management of the Center of Excellence by ensuring procurement, market analysis and sales. He plays a key role in managing the purchase, sale, exchange, consignment and inventory of aircraft parts to ensure compliance, efficiency and profitability of operations while ensuring customer satisfaction. In addition, he/she is responsible for the growth of the Center of Excellence, coordinating internal action plans with the various departments of the company, while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and current safety standards.

Responsabilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and assess procurement and sales activities for specific materials and aircraft components
  • Identify potential supplier.
  • Ensure receipt, inventory and storage of various components.
  • Organize and monitor operations, ensuring traceability of transactions;
  • Evaluate market price and product quality.
  • Manage aircraft parts exchange programs, ensuring receipt, inspection and refurbishment of exchanged parts.
  • Establish and manage consignment agreements with suppliers, customers, or partners to ensure contractual obligations are met and assets are properly managed.
  • Create new revenue opportunities by understanding the customer base.
  • Monitor market trends and changes.
  • Prepare impact analysis reports and make recommendations to M1 management and clients.
  • Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and growing the Center of Excellence.
  • Provide technical and logistical support to internal teams in the deployment and tracking of components.
  • All other duties related to the position.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business management, commerce or economics or another relevant field.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in our aerospace field.
  • Management expérience.
  • Knowledge of component management tools (Quantum market software, traceability tools).
  • Experience in Customer service.
  • Rigor, organization and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills;.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
