The candidate must have relevant experience in the aerospace industry. This position requires passion, resourcefulness, attention to details and the ability to work with little supervision.
What you’ll do:
Perform evaluation on incoming units, complete BOMs and estimate repair hours;
Ensure the status of all unit are kept up to date in the ERP system;
Ensure proper completion of all documentation;
Serve as a reference for the technical, safety and shop issues.
Ensure the production process advances according to procedures and intervene with modifications if necessary;
Identify tooling needs;
Carefully study the customers’ requests (RO), estimates of damage, plans, and drawings and choose the ideal method to be used for production;
Understand and implement engineering changes;
Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process;
Write inspection reports;
Collaborate with the engineering team;
Verify the manuals;
Your ideal background :
College diploma in aerospace or equivalent or other relevant training;
Two (2) to (5) years of experience in MRO;
Bilingual (English and/or French), with strong communication skills (oral and written);
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
What you’ll need :
AME-S license, an asset;
Attention to detail;
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals;
Proactive with problem solving skills;
To be meticulous in your workmanship and documentation;
Initiative, resourcefulness, and sense of responsibility;
Ability to work well in a team, as well as alone with little supervision.
