POSITION OVERVIEW

Providing administrative support to the Maintenance department

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative support primarily for the Quality Assurance and GSE Managers;
  • Providing support to the Administrative Assistant as required;
  • Updating forms, manuals and departmental documents as required;
  • Updating training file;
  • Assist in the weekly verification of the timesheets;
  • Arrange employee/contractor business travel and accommodations;
  • Organize employee training courses (local and remote);
  • General administrative tasks;
  • Carry out all other assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous or similar experience in an administrative position;
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry an asset;
  • Familiarity with the maintenance department is an asset;
  • Be competent comfortable with the following computer programs: Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Winair and Air Maestro Aviation software is an asset;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Have a high level of initiative, be adaptable and able to work autonomously;
  • Have a good sense of organization, responsibility and discretion;
  • This position requires a sense of thoroughness and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC);
  • Bilingual

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Situated in Montreal, Quebec
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Option of a compressed work week

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
  • Annual Salary starting at $21.28 / hour
