POSITION OVERVIEW

The counter agent is the first person to greet the customer at the Air Inuit FBO terminal. It is responsible for the check-in and boarding of passengers

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers and assist them with departure/arrival at the FBO passenger terminal
  • Take care of the logistics of all flight arrivals
  • Reserve hotels and shuttles in case of irregularities
  • Give necessary assistance to customers whenever needed
  • in case of delay, keep the passengers informed regularly and do a follow up with the ramp agents, dispatch, DOC, and the crew
  • Check-in passengers, their baggage and verify cabin baggage
  • Ensure an on time boarding that respects the safety procedures
  • Prepare flight documents, passenger check-in, ticketing, manifest, etc.
  • All other duties deemed necessary by the company in order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Secondary V or equivalent experience
  • Experience in customer service of at least one year
  • Knowledge of basic office software such as : Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Capacity to learn check-in and reservation systems used by the company
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC)
  • Bilingual (English/French), Inuktitut, an asset
  • Be able to communicate in writing as well as orally in both French and English
  • The capacity to offer an excellent customer service
  • Punctual, cheerful, reliable, and autonomous
  • Hold a driver's license and be able to arrive on site in a maximum delay of 90 minutes when on call.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working schedule 37.5 hour/week

COMPENSATION

The salary is determined according to the company' compensation policy.

Starting hourly rate : $21.35
