POSITION OVERVIEW

The FBO Ramp Agent is responsible to load and offload cargo et passenger baggage from the aircraft. He also ensures the safe movement of the aircraft on the tarmac.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure ramp safety and safe movement of aircraft on the ramp;
  • Move aircraft on the ramp;
  • Perform handling of Baggage, Cargo, etc;
  • Operate different specialized equipment on the ramp around the aircraft (tug, baggage carts, baggage belt, forklift, etc.);
  • Ensure equipment is well maintained and clean;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of aircraft compartments;
  • Participate in the cleanliness of the FBO
  • Perform other tasks as required by the company to maximize operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Must hold a class 5 driver's license;
  • Must be able to successfully obtain a restricted area Transport Canada Pass and successfully pass the ramp side driver's license (D/A);
  • Bilingual (French/English), lnuktitut is an asset;
  • Able to work as a team;
  • Punctual and reliable;
  • Available to travel occasionally for training;
  • Available to work shift (nights, week-ends, statutory holidays, split shift) in accordance with the FBO operational needs;
  • Good physical shape;
  • Able to work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working schedule of 37.5h per week

COMPENSATION

The salary is determined according to the company's compensation policy.

Starting hourly rate - $20.33
