POSITION OVERVIEW

Providing technical oversight and leadership of Air Inuit's fleet of engines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engine Shop Visit Oversight and Management;
  • Assist in negotiation of contracts & GTA's with Engine service providers;
  • Assist in the audit of engine and engine records after shop visits;
  • Prepare and provide the MRO with copies/links for the Engine Records relating to Engine Shop Visits including creation of removal statements;
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the engine trends to predict engine performance;
  • Communicate with engine manufacturer regarding issues not addressed in the maintenance documents;
  • Assist in facility audits for an engine service provider;
  • Attend engine conferences to learn, stay up to date with new technology and new ideas and approaches that are cost-efficient;
  • Review of Engine AD/SB's for Air Inuit fleet;
  • Assist in the organizing of engine related training for Line personnel;
  • Assists in AOG/Spares for engine related day to day activity;
  • Assist in the management of Air Inuit's Engine shop;
  • Other projects as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the management of Aircraft engines;
  • In depth knowledge of CFM 56 and Pratt & Whitney engines;
  • Ability to monitor and analyze the performance of engine trends.
  • Must be available for occasional travel on Air Inuit's network and/or to supplier/conference sites.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Situated in Montreal, Quebec

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
  • Salary range $110,000 - $159,000
