AIR INUIT - HYDRO QUÉBEC DIVISION CORPORATE PROFILE

Air Inuit - Hydro Québec division provides essential scheduled and emergency air transportation services throughout the province of Québec, 365 days a year.

The Hydro Québec division operates a fleet of Dash8s (Dash8-300s and Q400s) in a very demanding flight environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Air Inuit is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Mechanic with experience, preferably with Dash8-300 and Q400 for its Hydro Québec division to:

  • Perform work on the aircraft and in the workshops, as indicated by the instructions on the work order, i.e.: inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with the prescribed references.
  • Ensure all work items are recorded and signed off as required on applicable documents.
  • Ensure that approved work procedures, methods, and materials are used in the execution of work on the aircraft as well as in the workshops.
  • Maintain the hangar, equipment, tools, workshops, and store facilities in good condition.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks as directed by the Supervisor on duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a valid AME ''M'' license with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with their AME "M" license and experience on the DHC8-300 and Q400
  • Must be able to successfully complete training and eligibility exams for Hydro-Quebec AMO (aircraft certification authority) certification.
  • Know the maintenance policies appropriate to the specifications of aircraft operations and the maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of their duties.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a team and independently as well as have a good sense of organization.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the access card for the YUL airport regulatory area (RAIC) and an airside driver's license (D) with a radio license.
  • Have a minimum of necessary tools related to their work-related tasks.
  • Must have all necessary authorizations and documents to legally work in Canada.

Evening/night shifts (4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.), Schedule type 3-2-2

Compensation and benefits are determined according to corporate policy.
