Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 45 years. POSITION OVERVIEW

As the title suggests, the person occupying this position provides support to the Commercial Operations department. More specifically to the cargo operations and to the cargo network coordinator. He responds to customers by phone and email and must provide outstanding customer service.



DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Respond with compassion and care to customer inquiries by email and phone;
  • Ensure adequate follow-up of the complaints and perform the necessary research, internally and externally, to respond appropriately;
  • Acquire good knowledge of the Air Inuit cargo tariff rules;
  • Support the Cargo Coordinator in order to maintain and apply cargo transport services and standards across the network;
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication with clients, employees and other departments within the company;
  • Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded;
  • Perform any other duties required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Good experience in customer service, cargo logistics and claims, preferably in the aviation industry;
  • Spoken and written bilingualism: French / English is mandatory (Inuktitut an asset);
  • Good knowledge of air cargo transportation rules and Transport Canada regulations;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently;
  • Being familiar with the territory of Nunavik and the characteristics of the company are assets;
  • •Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Regular work week (Monday to Friday)
  • 37.5 h/week

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy.
