Job Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will bring a solid background in finance/accounting department experience to a diverse set of responsibilities. The role encompasses financial review and monthly accounting cycle tasks. Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance. Some, but minimal travel within Canada may be required from time to time. This exciting role includes a wide variety of accounting, finance, and general business aptitude – and a whole range of skills will be developed as you work in a brand new and modern office in Ville Saint Laurent.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly review of business line P&Ls and reporting activities thereon
  • Review Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Various month-end tasks (journal entries, report generation)
  • Maintaining various accounting and audit schedules
  • Responsible for maintaining internal control documentation as primary liaison with the Company's external internal control consultants
  • Assisting in the management of the Company's Insurance program; working with Group insurance team to provide financial information and insurance certificates locally as needed
  • Revenue contract analysis – pricing, billing accuracy, revenue audits and work with various revenue platforms and tools
  • Inventory costing and management
  • Assistance in gathering information and preparing the Company’s annual budget and forecasting process
  • Diverse tasks as required

Qualifications Required

  • 5+ years of experience in an accounting / finance role
  • CPA designation is a plus, but not required
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of SAP, One-Stream and Planful (an asset)
  • Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Power BI would be a plus)
  • Good communication skills (French & English)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Focused on teamwork and collaboration
  • Montreal-based (Ville St-Laurent) with hybrid opportunities
