Role Summary:

The Catering and Cabin Services Administrative Assistant reports to the Catering and Cabin Services Manager and is responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks within the department. This position runs the lost and found, acts as a customer liaison, maintains inventory, ensures records are up to date and accurate, and assists with special projects

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with various departments and customers to operate an effective and efficient lost and found
  • Order, maintain and process inventory for Catering and Cabin Services
  • Calculate accurate nutritional values for retail items
  • Provide janitorial cleaning when required
  • Monitor and track flight reports and customer comment cards with regards to catering and grooming related reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and digital records
  • Send out communications department-wide as necessary
  • Read resumes and interview potential department candidates

Must haves:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that's through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
