Role Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for effective organization of Air North, Yukon's Airline crew scheduling to maximize crew utilization and serve our customer needs. This role works closely with Chief Pilot of type and Flight Attendant Manager to ensure that best possible solutions are identified.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure crew is assigned to appropriate aircraft for trips and notify crewmembers of schedule changes
  • Monitor pilot duty hours
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the crew schedule
  • Monitor the passenger load to ensure highest internal crew utilization
  • To the greatest extent possible, forecast the crew requirements for each season for recruitment purposes
  • Maintain necessary communication with all crewmembers for crew schedule changes
  • Utilization of crewmembers in the most efficient and expedient method necessary to ensure operational reliability
  • Secure all necessary accommodations including but not limited to hotel and deadhead flight booking

Must haves:

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful related experience
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that's through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

  • Previous airline experience
  • Understanding of crew duty regulations
  • Previous scheduling experience
  • Administrative certificates
