Role Summary:

This position will continually refine the Company's independent Audit Program which is used for oversight and compliance checks of the Maintenance department, Flight Operations, Ground Operations and the Safety Management System.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete audits and ongoing evaluations of all operational departments to ensure regulatory and internal standards are being met or exceeded
  • Collaborate with management to provide technical guidance/assistance for process improvement and documentation
  • Provide detailed audits and compliance reports to management
  • Stay informed of regulatory developments and industry best practices and collaborate with managers to revise manuals and/or SOPs accordingly
  • Assist in the development/refining of an internal Operational QA program
  • Assist in preparation for larger operational audits, including the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO).
  • Work towards company IATA IOSA certification.
  • Develop, implement and execute policies and procedures that help to ensure reliability, and ensure the timely flow of accurate QA-related information throughout the company

Must haves:

  • Minimum 2 years in an aviation based role
  • Expert user in Microsoft platforms
  • Must obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that's through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in auditing or safety-related work is an asset
  • Experience using a safety reporting system
  • Knowledge of the CARS's
