Associations
- Aviateurs.Quebec : In French only: Born as APBQ (Association des Pilotes de Brousse du Québec) in 1979, the organization offers numerous services for its members: a permanent secretary, a bimestrial review L’Aviateur, a website and L’Aviateur Express, its internet weekly newsletter.
- Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ): The CRIAQ is a not-for-profit organization that brings together members of Québec’s aerospace industry, universities and research centres to carry out research and innovation projects based on a unique collaboration model.
- Comité sectoriel de main-d’œuvre en aérospatiale au Québec (CAMAQ) – In French only – The mission of the CAMAQ is to foster more cooperation among employers, workers, heads of educational institutions and government officials involved in planning and worker training in the aerospace and air transportation industry.
Education and training
- Centre Québécois de Formation Aéronautique (CQFA): The CQFA by the means of it’s continuing education department, is involved in maintaining the pilot’s proficiencies in addition to supporting the industry in their training needs. It also provides a collegial training exclusively in French.
IFA’s mission is to provide in-company training to help its industry partners improve the skills of their human resources and thus contribute to the development of the aerospace industry.
